Welcome to VicLocal Connect. By using our courier and delivery services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Service Scope

VicLocal Connect provides local courier and delivery services within Greater Victoria and surrounding areas. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of items that are unsafe, prohibited by law, or improperly packaged.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate pickup and delivery information. Packages must be securely packed to withstand normal handling. Customers are responsible for ensuring items comply with all laws and regulations.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport: Hazardous materials (flammable, toxic, or explosive items). Illegal substances or items prohibited by Canadian law. Cash, jewelry, or other high-value goods unless explicitly agreed in writing

Delivery & Timeframes

We strive to deliver packages within the agreed timeframe. However, delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. Same-day or express deliveries are subject to availability.

Liability

VicLocal Connect’s liability for lost or damaged packages is limited to the replacement cost of delivery fees, unless otherwise agreed. We are not responsible for: Delays outside of our control (traffic, weather, emergencies). Packages that are improperly packed or labeled by the customer. Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of business).

Payment & Fees

Customers agree to pay delivery charges as quoted at the time of booking. Payments must be made in full before or upon delivery, unless otherwise arranged. Late or unpaid accounts may result in suspended services.

Cancellations & Refunds

Deliveries may be canceled up to [X hours] before pickup time for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after a driver has been dispatched.

Privacy

Customer information is collected only for service purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.

Amendments

VicLocal Connect reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
